The Civil Service College, Mauritius in collaboration with the Civil Service College of United Kingdom had organised a one-day workshop on Inclusive Leadership. The workshop focussed on two main areas: developing a compelling corporate grand narrative to motivate and inspire staff and make them feel part of a single inclusive team; and exercising mentor leadership to guide and challenge staff to achieve their potential.

The facilitator/resource person for the workshop was Dr Roger MENDONCA, lead trainer and Director of Studies at Civil Service College. Roger has wide-ranging experience of all operational matters, including setting strategic direction, business planning, policy development, change management, financial and resource management, stakeholder management, marketing, media relations, PR and public affairs, governance, information management, business analytics, and HR – including organisational design and the creation and maintenance of a culture of excellence.
The workshop was successfully held on 23 and 24 August 2017 at Intercontinental Mauritius, Resort, Balaclava. Some 77 senior officials from public sector organisations attended the workshop.
